Since this issue keeps coming up, I wanted to know people's thoughts on whether it's something we can help with.  As far as I understand it's down to each community council to make decision about whether to grant a license to the likes of a sex shop or lap dancing club, and each instance would need to be taken up at local level.  Is there call for a hints and tips page about how to oppose the mainstreaming of sex services locally?  Does anyone have experience of this that could be shared on the forum?
